Camp Activities
Big Sur Campground and Cabins offers a variety of activities for the entire family. Enjoy an afternoon of swimming in the river, or take advantage of our inner tube rentals. Gaze in awe at the towering redwoods. Or enjoy the relaxation of sitting around the campfire, telling stories. We offer a basketball court along with a playground for the kids. You'll also find beach access and miles of spectacular hiking trails just a few minutes’ drive along the highway.

Playground
The younger kids can never seem to spend enough time at the playground in the woods! Swings, slides and climbing structures will keep the small ones occupied and happy, while Mom and Dad read a book or the newspaper, or visit with other parents.
Playground hours are 8am to dusk.

Camp Store
The camp store carries a small but useful selection of snacks, beverages, groceries and camping supplies, including firewood and ice. Pick up maps or tap into our staff’s local knowledge to help plan your next adventre in Big Sur.

River Tubing
Take a refreshing dip in the river, located right on our campground, or stop by the camp store and check-out some inner tubes for a leisurely float.

Swimming Hole
Take a refreshing dip in the mountain waters of the Big Sur river. Our swimming hole has a small stretch of sand for a chair or blanket.

Basketball Court
Our on-site basketball court is sutable for all ages and an unique experience to shoot some hoops in the shadows of towering redwood trees.

Campfires
Each site and cabin comes equipped with its own fire ring. Plus, firewood and firestarter are avaliable for purchase at the Camp Store, making it easy to enjoy this signature camping experience.

Big Sur Campground & Cabins offers wellness activities from yoga and meditation to bodywork.

Laundry Facilities
While on vacation you may not want to do laundry but if you have to, the on-site coin laundry will come in handy.
